NTE and multilanguage character sets (Windows 95/98/NT4)

Starting from version 1.6.1, NTE will work with multilanguage character sets.
  • Windows 95: Download the self extracting binary of the language files from the Microsoft support site. After extracting the files, follow the installation instructions in the readme file.
  • Windows 98: Details on how to install Microsoft Multilanguage Support is available in this Microsoft Knowledge base article.
  • Windows NT4: Download the lang-nt.zip file. After extracting the files, follow the installation instructions in the readme file.

To insure that the font is rendered correctly on other machines, every machine in the conference should have the Multilanguage Support installed.

Note: This feature doesn't currently work when used with the ReLaTe user interface (v2.0)
