This is the list of known bugs in PSPP. Bugs related to
unsupported language features are not included. These are covered in
LANGUAGE. Bugs not directly visible to
users are not included either. These can be found in TODO or in the source code.
- Nothing has yet been tested exhaustively. Be cautious using
PSPP to make important decisions.
- Documentation is incomplete.
- The testsuite is incomplete and results cannot yet be mechanically
verified.
- Command files may not contain null bytes.
- PostScript driver bugs:
- Does not support driver arguments `max-fonts-simult' or
`optimize-text-size'.
- Minor problems with font-encodings.
- Fails to align fonts along their baselines.
- Does not support certain bizarre line intersections--should never
crop up in practice.
- Does not gracefully substitute for existing fonts whose encodings
are missing.
- Does not support full justification of text.
- Does not perform italic correction or left italic correction on
font changes.
- Missing characters in font metrics cause an abort.
- EPSF driver is unimplemented.
- ASCII driver bugs:
- Does not support full justification of text.
- Does not support `infinite length' or `infinite width'
paper.
